Fr. Jim Brokman

 

Fr. Jim Brokman is an adjunct professor in the theology department and chaplain at Mt. Mercy College in Cedar Rapids; he serves as chaplain of Sacred Heart Convent and sacramental priest at parishes in Mt. Vernon and Springville. Fr. Jim was born in Independence, studied philosophy at Loras College, and earned his Master of Divinity degree from St. John University in Collegeville. He was ordained for the Archdiocese of Dubuque in 1997 and has served as associate pastor at parishes in Cedar Rapids and Marion. He is a popular presenter in the Archdiocese’s Lay Formation program.
