Biography

 

Fr. Dennis Colter

Fr. Dennis Colter is pastor of Queen of Peace Parish in Waterloo. He is a native of Waterloo. He earned a B.A. degree in Classical Studies from Loras College, an M.A. in Theology from Louvain University in Belgium, and a S.T.L. degree in Spiritual Theology from the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome. Fr. Colter was ordained for the Archdiocese of Dubuque in 1966. He served as professor in the theology department at Loras and served has on a variety of Archdiocesan boards and committees. Fr. Colter is an instructor in the Archdiocese’s deaconate formation program and has served as a high school teacher, convent chaplain and vocation director. Fr. Dennis can be reached at:
