and the
mission of Catholic
formation and education;
• agree to promote the vision, mission and goals of the Catholic
faith formation
expressed in the vision, mission and goals of the Waterloo Catholic Faith

decisions by
consensus;
• support the Commission's decisions even when they have personal reservations
about those decisions;
• support the administrators of the formation and education
programs under the
jurisdiction of the Commission, and avoid intruding in
administrative details
unless requested to do so;
• acknowledge that they do not officially represent the Commission
and are not
able to speak on behalf of the Commission unless explicitly authorized to do so;
• disqualify themselves from discussion and votes on an issue
where there is a
conflict of interest with their family or business, or if the
outcome would result in
any pecuniary or material benefits to themselves;
• pray often for members of the Commission, administrators,
students and
participants in formation programs under the Commission's jurisdiction,
and for
the parish communities which the Commission serves.
