Opportunities to Learn More
Changes in the Catholic Mass

O
n the First Sunday of Advent in 2011, English-speaking Catholics will begin using a revised Roman Missal, the official book which guides the words and actions of the Sunday Mass.

Among other things, this new missal contains new prayers, revised rubrics or instructions, and some changes in the translations of various common prayers and responses used at Mass.

To help Catholics understand the nature and purpose of these changes before they take place, the Catholic parishes in Cedar Falls and Waterloo are offering a variety of opportunities to learn more about the changes this fall.
